Instructions
- Prep. Open each pitted date so it is stretched out into one long line and place them evenly spaced on a baking sheet.
- Smash. Place parchment paper over the dates and use the bottom of a glass or jar to gently smash them down to flatten without tearing the fruit completely.
- Assemble. Spread about 1 teaspoon of natural creamy peanut butter evenly over each smashed date, then spoon about 1 teaspoon of melted dark chocolate on top. Optionally, sprinkle crushed peanuts and flaky sea salt for added texture and flavor.
- Chill. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator or freezer to allow the treats to set and firm up for at least 20 minutes. Serve chilled and enjoy this naturally sweet and satisfying snack!
