Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the slow cooker to provide moisture during cooking.
  2. Season the Turkey: Evenly season the turkey breast on all sides with Italian seasoning, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Place the seasoned turkey breast into the slow cooker and top with butter or ghee for added flavor and moisture.
  3. Cook on Slow Cooker: Cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or on LOW for 4 to 6 hours until the turkey is fully cooked and tender.
  4. Rest the Turkey: Remove the turkey breast from the slow cooker and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows juices to redistribute.
  5. Prepare the Instant Pot: Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  6. Season the Turkey for Instant Pot: Season the turkey breast evenly on all sides as before, add it to the Instant Pot, and top with butter or ghee.
  7. Cook in Instant Pot: Seal the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes. Once cooking is complete, perform a quick pressure release.
  8. Rest and Serve: Open the lid, remove the turkey breast, and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
