Ingredients
Scale
Slider Buns
- 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns (9 slider buns)
Spread & Toppings
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- ½ tsp Garlic Salt
- ¼ cup Fig Jam
- 4 oz Prosciutto
- 1.5 cups Arugula
- 2 balls Burrata Cheese
- ¼ tsp Flaky Salt
- 1 tbsp White Balsamic Glaze
Instructions
- Prepare the buns: Split the King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns in half and place them on a baking sheet with the interior side facing up to prepare them for broiling.
- Drizzle and season: Drizzle olive oil evenly over the cut sides of the buns, then sprinkle with garlic salt to add flavor and help them brown nicely under the broiler.
- Broil the buns: Place the baking sheet under the oven broiler and toast the buns for about 3 minutes, or until they turn a golden brown color, which enhances their texture and flavor.
- Spread fig jam: Remove the buns from the oven and immediately spread fig jam generously on the bottom halves of the buns to add a sweet contrast to the savory fillings.
- Assemble sliders: Layer the fig jam-side bun bottoms with slices of prosciutto, followed by a handful of fresh arugula, and generous portions of burrata cheese. Sprinkle flaky salt over the cheese for added texture and flavor, then drizzle white balsamic glaze on top to finish.
- Complete and serve: Place the top halves of the buns on the assembled sliders and serve immediately to enjoy the combination of warm, toasted bread with fresh, rich fillings.
Notes
- You can substitute the fig jam with another fruit preserve like apricot or raspberry if preferred.
- For a sharper flavor, add a few cracks of black pepper over the arugula before topping with burrata.
- To maintain the softness of the slider buns, toast them just until golden and avoid over-broiling.
- These sliders are best served fresh, but you can prepare ingredients ahead and assemble just before serving.
- White balsamic glaze can be found at specialty grocery stores or made by reducing white balsamic vinegar with a bit of sugar until syrupy.
