Dressing Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 1 ½ tsp anchovy paste
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (or more to taste)
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Water (to adjust consistency)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, minced garlic, and black pepper until all ingredients are fully blended.
- Adjust Consistency: Gradually add water, about 1 tablespoon at a time, whisking after each addition until the dressing reaches your preferred consistency. Taste and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Store and Serve: Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep well for up to 2 weeks. Stir or shake before serving to recombine any separation.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use sour cream instead of Greek yogurt.
- Anchovy paste can be adjusted depending on how strong you want the umami taste.
- Add more lemon juice for extra tanginess.
- This dressing works great as a dip for vegetables or a sauce for grilled meats.
- Store in the refrigerator and use within 2 weeks for the best freshness.
