Description

This easy fruit salad recipe combines a vibrant mix of fresh berries, grapes, clementines, and kiwis, tossed in a light citrus-honey dressing and fresh mint. Perfect for a refreshing snack or a healthy dessert, this colorful salad is quick to prepare and keeps well refrigerated for several days.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 cups green grapes, sliced in half
  • 6 clementines, peeled and segmented
  • 4 kiwis, peeled and chopped

Dressing and Garnish

  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Rinse all fresh fruits thoroughly. Chop strawberries and kiwis, slice grapes in half, peel and segment clementines, and ensure blueberries are clean and dry.
  2. Combine fruit in bowl: In a large mixing bowl, add the prepared blueberries, strawberries, grapes, clementine segments, and chopped kiwis.
  3. Make the dressing: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, and honey until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Toss fruit with dressing: Pour the citrus-honey dressing over the mixed fruit in the large bowl. Gently toss the fruit and dressing together until the fruit is evenly coated.
  5. Add fresh mint: Sprinkle the chopped fresh mint over the dressed fruit and toss again gently to distribute the mint flavor throughout the salad.
  6. Chill and store: Transfer the fruit salad to an airtight container and refrigerate. It tastes best when chilled and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust honey amount to taste if you prefer a sweeter or lighter dressing.
  • The dressing can be prepared in advance and stored separately for up to 24 hours.
  • For added crunch, you can sprinkle some chopped nuts or seeds before serving.
  • This fruit salad is best served chilled but can be brought to room temperature before serving if preferred.
